Restmore Inn is a small cozy Inn with cute newly remodeled wildlife themed cabins and one historic 100+ year stagecoach stop.  Very convenient to all major attractions!  We are situated among pines trees, adjoining the U.S. forest land and located  2 miles South of Hill City.  All units are non-smoking and cabins with complete kitchens, fire pits, gas grill barbecues.  Affordable rooms with or without kitchenettes.  Pets are allowed in the motel rooms.  We have plenty of open space for all types of parking needs.  Explore the beauty and wildlife out back in the Black Hills National Forest which borders the property.  We have chipmunks, wild turkeys, deer, elk, etc., where you can hike up the hill to see their tracks.  Come explore our beautiful scenic area.  There is plenty of fun to be had for everyone!  Open all year.

We offer six intimate real log cabins and two historic ranch houses for nightly or weekly rental year-round. Our log cabins circle a picturesque meadow and are placed well back from the road.  Newton Fork Ranch will become your “home away from home;” your peaceful oasis from a world filled with time constraints and non-stop activity. Our fully furnished and well-equipped log cabins, only a half mile from Main Street, will afford you a welcome respite from a hectic life. An afternoon sitting on the deck watching wildlife or an evening spent by a warm fire will transport you to a far simpler and more tranquil time.

Each log cabin features a full kitchen with range, refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, cookware, dinnerware and utensils. Each also has a gas fireplace, gas barbeque, an old-fashioned clawfoot bathtub or rock-surround showers, towels, bedding, and a porch with breathtaking views.  Five have lofts and comfortably sleep up to four people. Our sixth, which has a view of Black Elk Peak (formerly Harney Peak), is a two-bedroom and can sleep up to eight.

Our historic two-bedroom Grandma's Ranch House has a wood-burning fireplace, was built in 1914, and sleeps up to six. The famed Original Badger Clark cabin is "off-the-grid," sleeps two, is heated by a pot-bellied stove, and is for adventurous guests interested in South Dakota's first Poet Laureate and in turning back the clock to a by-gone era.  All of our cabins are placed a short distance apart to afford peace and tranquility.

We have a private access gate that opens directly onto the Mickelson trail.

PETS: Newton Fork Ranch welcomes guests traveling with their well-behaved pets. GUESTS TRAVELING WITH HORSES: we have two heavy-duty 12' x 12' paneled corrals available for a small rental fee.
